Driving to Schloss Neuschwanstein and Königssee

Student life . Travel . Uncategorized

On the third weekend of October, I and Xuan Lan chose to drive to New Swan Stone Castle (Schloss Neuschwanstein) and the Kings Lake (Königssee) with our friend Lai Chuyao, who studied as an exchange student in Salzburg. Although I also have a driver’s license, I have never driven a car after I got my  license. So Lanny was in charge of driving all the time. But she was a very good driver, so we could enjoy the scenery along the way.

  • New Swan Stone Castle

On Saturday we drove to the famous Swan Castle. Far away we could see the castle in the fairy tale on the mountainside – New Swan Stone Castle, more shining in the sunshine. We became even more excited.

Swan Castle is located in the mountains, so visitors can choose to take a bus. The bus is driving on the winding mountain roads, which is really scary, so I really admire these bus drivers. We came across a very nice bus driver, who was sing all the time when waiting for setting out. Besides, when we asked him for directions, he was smiling. It seems that he really enjoyed the job.

Finally we arrived at Swan Castle. It was located on the mountainside, surrounded by many trees, which looked like a fairy tale scene. The blue roof and the white stone wall, the two colors looked extraordinarily harmonious and dreamy, so I could only say that it was too beautiful.

But unfortunately, due to our false estimation of the driving time, we missed the ticket time of Swan Castle and finally did not go to visit Swan Castle inside. We only walked around the outside~

After going down the mountain, we went to the nearby chapel for a while. This small church was located on a large expanse of grass, with a large tree next to it and two chairs next to the big tree. The big tree somehow always reminded me of the scene in the movie “Flipped”. What’s more there was a couple sitting on the chair at that time, more like “Flipped”.

Against the background of blue sky and white clouds, this small church looks particularly good and beautiful in the sunshine.

  • the Kings Lake

The next day we drove to the Kings Lake. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day and it was very cold. The scenery of Kings Lake was not as beautiful as usual, but it was still very shocking for us.

We took a cruise on the Kings Lake and went to a small church around the lake. Fortunately, when we arrived at the chapel, the sun gradually came out and the lake became sparkling. When I stood in front of the chapel, there was a calm lake in front of me, surrounded by several big mountains, and the air was very fresh. I thought I had been purified at that time.

Since many pictures have been deleted by me wrongly, it is a pity that there are no more pictures here.

  • Along the way

Since we were driving by car, the scenery along the road was more charming. We drove in the mountains, towns, and high speeds of Germany and saw more beauty along the way. In fact, it is difficult to record those beautiful sceneries with photos, I think it’s better for you to try to use your own eyes and brain to capture and memorize. What you see with your own eyes are always the most beautiful scenery.

There was also a big lake on the road, although I don’t know its name, but it was also beautiful. Especially in the dusk, the lake and the sky, all in blue colors, looking very dreamy.

There were always many small houses like the pictures below on the highway. They were located on a large piece of grass and had their own small yard. You can feel a comfortable lifestyle when you look at them. In the background of the setting sun, they look even more beautiful, even filled with a warm home atmosphere.

Finally, the scene of the sunset on our way to Munich. The sky was divided into two colors, light blue and light orange. Under the sky background, we were driving on the German highway. I think this kind of experience will be one of the most unforgettable memories for me~
