From Barcelona to Munich

Authors . Uncategorized

Hello everyone, my name is Mireia Malgosa but all my friends call me Mire, I’m from Barcelona (Spain) and I’m studying Advertising and Public Relations there.
I decided to spend an exchange semester in Munich because I was tired of the routine and I wanted a change in my life, so I talked with many people before applying for the Erasmus and everybody said to me “Living abroad, studying and meeting new friends is something that you will never ever forget”.
Munich wasn’t at first my favorite option, but then I thought that I wanted to learn a little bit of German and improve my English, and also, because I came here last year with my family and I immediately fell in love with the city, so I thought it would be a great experience to spend a semester here even I’m not a “cold girl”.

I have really high expectations of spending my semester abroad because I think it’s an amazing experience for meeting new people and also grow as a person, because here, I don’t have my family and friends for support so I it’s an opportunity to learned to look after myself.

During my first month I’ve been here, I can say that I’ve met wonderful people and I’m getting immersed in the local lifestyle which I’m enjoying it so much.

For the next 3 months I hope to travel around the country and know a little more of Deutschland or countries near by, and for the moment I’ve been to Vienna and I am planning to go to Milan and Berlin.

Thank you for reading,
Mire
