Greetings from China! …and something about me
AuthorsHello everyone. My name is Ruilin Zhang. I come from China. I’m a Junior from Nankai University and major in German philology. Now I’m an exchange student at LMU, I’m going to spend a whole academic year to experience new things.
In my current 20 years of life, I mainly live in Tianjin, which is a coastal city in northern China. I’ve lived a very ordinary life with fun, freedom and love. In my spare time I like playing volleyball, photographing and watching musical. A special mention to musical: When I started learning German, I came across the musical “Elisabeth” and was deeply moved by the appealing stage. Later, the rickety chandelier in “The Phantom of the Opera” and the rising helicopter in “Miss Saigon” made me fall in love with musical overwhelmingly.
I also have a keen interest in languages. There’s a close connection between language and communication. I’m expecting to acquire new knowledge at IfKW. In the next three months, I’d be absolutely delighted to talk and study with you all. However, due to Corona I’m going to spend this semester through distance learning. As an IT novice, fortunately I’ve got the access to all my courses and eventually started the blog. This should be a special but memorable exchange semester for me. Hope to start the adventure in Germany as soon as possible!
