My Introduction
UncategorizedHi, my name is Hannah. I am currently studying International Business Management in Edinburgh, but I was born and grew up in Glasgow, Scotland.
Both cities have their own charm, Edinburgh is filled with history and I love watching the city change with each season. Glasgow is slightly more rough around the edges, but has a lot of character and I have enjoyed experiencing life in them both. Scotland is famous for its rolling hills, we only need to drive twenty minutes and the highlands will begin to appear. In the summer I occasionally join my friends for a hike, but I definitely prefer less intensive walks through the woods or along the beach with a picnic.
At first I was uncertain about my decision to move to Munich, since I was content with my life in Edinburgh. However I realised it was a great chance to embrace a completely new culture and learn more about myself. I have been here since the winter semester, and I am glad to be staying for two. When I first arrived, I was able to familiarise myself with Munich and the way of life here. I experienced Oktoberfest, visited the nearby lakes and travelled to other cities like Berlin, Hamburg and Vienna. So far, my favourite destination has been Prague— it felt so quaint and I thought the architecture was beautiful.
In my last three months here I would like to visit a few more countries while they are so close. I also plan on making the most of my summer in Munich by exploring new areas, discovering cafes and bars and taking a dip in the Eisbach! I am hoping to have a few friends from Scotland visit me, and I am looking forward to showing them my life here.
