My first time in Munich! ✈️

Hi everyone! My name is Yuko , and I am so excited to start my exchange in Munich!

I am from Singapore 🇸🇬, a little red dot where the weather is always hot. I study Communication Studies at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). I can speak English and a little bit of Chinese and Japanese. 

I love dogs and I have a Yorkshire and Jack Russell at home in Singapore. I wish I could bring them to Munich TT.

I chose Munich because it is in the heart of Europe. It also has a beautiful history, amazing parks like the English Garden, and I can explore and experience a totally different culture.

Since this is my first time in Germany, I hope that I can

• Survive the cold (it’s much colder than SG! ❄️).
• Make new friends from all over the world. 🌎 
• To learn some basic German so I can interact with the locals! 🇩🇪

Some of my plans for the upcoming months is to explore Bavaria, and other cities in Europe. We don’t have much mountains and natural lakes in Singapore, so I hope to pick up hiking as a hobby.
