Self Introduction : Gail
UncategorizedHiii 🙂 My name is Chayanith but you can call me Gail. I’m 21 years old exchange student from Bangkok, Thailand. At my hometown, I am a 3rd year student majored in Communication Management at Chulalongkorn University. I can speak Thai and English. If anyone is interested to travel to Thailand, I would recommend you to visit the southern part of Thailand like Phuket, Krabi, and Samui, because they have a very nice sea view and the water is crystal clear. Also Thai food tastes really good, Tom Yum Gung (Thai spicy soup) and Mango Sticky Rice with coconut sauce are the must try menus that you should try!!
I choose to go on exchange in Munich although this is actually my second time here because it is the most interesting choice among the lists of my university’s partnership. Also 2 of my friends also wanted to go on exchange in Germany and LMU is one of two university’s partnerships that accept 3 applicants which fit my friends and me perfectly.
From this exchange program, I expect to get a wider perspective and experience the difference in educational system, culture, and environment. I hope that I am able to make many new friends that I can create memorable memories with. Being here in unfamiliar environment for one semester is a big step out of my comfort zone as I have never left my home country for this long, however, I think it will definitely benefits me both in educational aspect and life skills aspect.
For now, I just want to enjoy my everyday life as an exchange student while living here and make good memories with friends as much as possible. I had to study online for the past 2 years because of Covid, but now I am able to attend the class at the university so I am really happy.
Lastly, I love coffee, boba tea, and chilling at a nice cafe or park. I’m currently crave for Thai and Korean food so if anyone knows any good restaurants in Munich please recommend me 🙂
