Miss No.2

Hi everyone! I’m Prindhorn Udomboresuwan, and my nickname is Pinn. I was born on 2nd February 2002. Number 2 and I involve a lot not only my birthdate but also my birth time which was 8.02 a.m. You might wonder why 8 a.m. is related to No. 2 since, in the past Thai people called 8 a.m. as 2 o’clock. I’m also a second child, and my mom has twins. So I consider number 2 to be my lucky number. However, my mom gave me my name ‘Prindhorn’ which means dominant and is propitious for me who was born on Saturday because she believed that this name would bring luck to me.

I’m from Bangkok, Thailand which is renowned as a world kitchen. Thai food has various identities that anyone who tries Thai food will genuinely fall in love with it because the taste of Thai food is varied and quite strong such as sour, sweet, salty, and spicy. Moreover, Thai foods are highly nutritious and beneficial to the body as they contain many vegetables and herbs which have medicinal properties to maintain normal health and improve health. The vegetables that are added also provide different benefits depending on the season.

Apart from the food, in my opinion the sea anywhere is not as beautiful as the sea in Thailand as the sea water is very clear green, so you can see colorful fish swimming. It’s perfect for vacation and doing activities to relax after being tired from work or studying for almost a year. Before I came to Munich, I went to Krabi and joined the scuba diving tour as my dad wanted to travel with me after I did an internship. I had so much fun and really enjoyed this trip due to the weather, natural atmosphere, and food! If anyone plans to visit Thailand, I would like to recommend you to go there once. You won’t definitely be disappointed as the photos cannot capture how beautiful and stunning the view is.

The reasons I decided to be an exchange student in Munich are that my aunt told me about her exciting experiences when she studied German in Germany. Then, Munich was my first choice. In addition, LMU is ranked #33 in the world university ranking. This would make it easier for me to make a decision to go to Munich. And the last thing is I wish to travel to Europe with my friends. The expectations I have for my semester abroad are I hope I can travel as much as I can since this may be very last time before I get into career life.
