Xiong’s here!

Hello dear all!

I’m Xiong Run, a bachelor’s student majoring in International Journalism at Renmin University of China. German is my second foreign language, and I’d like to get more practice with it during my exchange semester. Besides, I’m basically here for cars, beer, and football, the specialties of Germany, huh?

I’m a huge fan of Bayern München and used to stay up very late to watch their matches back in China. Now I don’t have to suffer from the time difference anymore have already been to several games. I was even there for the derby against Dortmund last weekend! Amazing atmosphere!

In my free time, I’m planning solo trips around Europe: next week I’ll be in Prague, two weeks later in Budapest and Vienna, and three weeks later in Rome and Milan. I haven’t decided where to go after that yet, who knows 😉 By the way, there is a famous novel in China named “Set out a long journey at eighteen”. I’m now 21, but I guess it’s still not too late? 🙂
