Self introduction

Hello everyone, my name is Risa and I’m an exchange student from Japan. I’ll study here for a year. I’ve just arrived Munich last month ago. I live in student’s dommitory now. In Japan, I live in Chiba which is near Tokyo in Japan. I can go to Tokyo Disney land in 30 minutes from my home. I go to Meiji university in Tokyo and 3^rd grade there. I’ve really loved Winnie the Pooh since I was born so I have a lot of goods of it.

I chose Germany to study abroad because I’ve studied German for two years in my home university. When I was first grade in it, I had to study second foreign language. Then I chose German because it looked cool such as a pronounciation. I think Germany is safe to live. Japan is safe, so I’ve wanted to live in a safe country. Munich is located in good place to travel around Europe. I’d love to travel not only in Germany but also all of European countries. So southern Germany is good for me. I knew LMU is a great university in the world so I’d like to study here. That’s why I selected Munich.

I’d like to improve my language skills in my two semesters here. It is also my goal to make friends who are from all over the world. I can make foreign friends even in Japan, but in Germany I could meet more people who are from various countries.

  I study like intercultural communication for cross cultural understanding in my home university. I think it is needed to have opportunities of living in foreign culture to understand it.

I’m going to traval to Zurich and Prague in a month. I’ll also go on a trip to Paris, Florence and Venice. Of course I’ll go to Christmas market in Germany in December. I’ve head that of Nuremberg, Dresden and Stuttgart is a famous event so I should visit there in Cristmas season. In holiday between winter semester and summer semester I’ll go to Nordic countries to feel nature with my friend. Especially I look forword to seeing aurora there. I like to watch football game. I watched two matches in London and Brighton last year.  If I can get tickets, I’d like to watch El Clasico in Spain. Not only are there football matches, but also there are a lot of places to travel like World Heritage in Europe. I’d love to go to as many places as possible.
