Finally out of my box

Hey there, I’m

Faith from the very sunny Singapore –  some 10,055km away from Munich. Even as I am sharing this, being on exchange feels surreal. Just a year ago, I remember watching my seniors leave for exchange and seeing their posts and pictures feeling really envious of how fun exchange seems to be.

Now, here I am on my very own exchange adventures. 

Anticipating the journey

Exploring the different European cities and experiencing their culture is definitely one of the aspects of exchange which I look forward to the most. So far, it has very humbling to learn because of my limited knowledge about the history of many of these places. The depth of the history here has been an eye-opening experience and I hope to continue to discover more in the months to come. 

Being in Munich also gives me time to pause and think about what I want to do upon graduation. Currently, I study Accounting and have a year to complete when I return to Singapore. It is worlds apart from media studies but I am excited to explore more through this module because of my  interest in marketing.

Before I end off, I just want to share what I hope to achieve by the end of exchange:

• Cook 3 dishes confidently
• Hold a conversation comfortably in German
