Self-introduction: Gabrielle

Hello !

My name is Gabrielle. My friends and family either call me Gab or Gaby.

I am 21 years old, and I come from France. I was born and raised in a city close to Paris which name is Saint-Maur-des-Fossés.

Back home, I study at the Catholic University of Paris. I follow there an Information and Communication bachelor, with a focus on humanities. It is less applied than the courses I have choose here in LMU, but it is still really nice. It is my last year and now I need to apply for masters’ studies… hard moments :/

I choose Munich because it was one of the best cities offered by my university and also as a lot of French people study Spanish instead of German, I was surer to leave. Especially because I wanted to come here with a friend, Clara, that you may have already seen/meet 🙂

I learned German at school, so I should be able to speak it but, I struggle a lot with my skills. I am going to try to improve here!

My plans for the next three months are to enjoy life here. It is the first time I leave alone, away from friends and family! So, I hope to meet nice people here, have fun, parties, great memories. I am also going to visit a bit of Germany. I planned to go to Berlin, and the cities that are close to Munich. I am also going to Roma at the end of the month to visit my best friend doing her Erasmus there!
