Self Introduction – New (Thanut Pinyothanakom)

Hello everyone! My full name is Thanut Pinyothanakom and I’m 21 years old from Thailand. In my country, we usually have nickname given to us at birth and mine is New (as in New Year, New Balance) so please feel free to call me by this name 🙂 and here is a buddy of mine, Shogun (on a face filter though, he’s not this cute in real life.)

My hometown is in the capital city of Thailand, Bangkok. It’s a very busy city that is definitely overpopulated. You can’t really see the sky from the city center with the amount of skyscrapers, but you won’t even recognized that because the amount of traffic on the road is driving you crazy. I really miss the food (especially spicy ones) and how cheap things are though. If you have plans to visit Thailand in the future, I really recommend you to do so because it’s one of the most affordable option compares to what you’re getting. I’ll be honest and say that my primary focus here is not studying. I came here for the experience because it’s my first chance to come to Europe. After almost 3 years of online classes, I needed a break and want to see new things and meet new people and Munich seems like the perfect place for it and I’m appreciating every seconds that I’m here.

Me and my friends already went to Austria, Italy, and Switzerland earlier in April and have plans to visit France sometime within our stay here so I’m looking forward to that but I currently have no personal plans whatsoever, I just wanted to enjoy life day by day and let it unfold itself.

I love coffee, drinking, and making new friends. I also love football, both watching and playing, and I’m a die hard fan of Chelsea FC (don’t hate me please Bayern Munich supporters) and enjoy almost every kind of music apart from EDM.
