Self Introduction – Jenna

Hi! My name is Jenna. I’m 20 years old and I’m an exchange student from Thailand. My home university is Chulalongkorn University where I study Communication Management. 

My hometown is in Pathum-Thani which is right next to the capital city, Bangkok. The weather in Thailand is really hot so it is totally different from here and I’m trying to get used to that. What I miss the most about my hometown is the food. There are many Thai restaurants in Munich but the taste are different so I’m still trying to find an authentic one.

Because of Covid-19, I didn’t get to study at the university for the past two years as everything has to be online, so I really miss going to the university and luckily I got to do that here in Munich.

I’ve never been in Germany before so this is a whole new experience and I’m really excited about it! I didn’t specifically choose to come to Munich but it seems to be a great place to live and I can’t wait to explore more about Munich.

I can’t speak German so living here is quite challenging for me but I do hope that my German skill will get better at the end of the semester. I’m looking forward for the next three months here that it is going to be so much fun and a great experience!
