Hey, it’s Laura:)
UncategorizedMunich is starting to get to know me and I hope we can do the same!
I am a 20 year old spanish girl from a city located in the southeast called Murcia, since it is not a big city I have always tried to visit other parts of the country and the world. And this year, I could not have chosen a better city, as every day its corners and people amaze me!
I have also been lucky enough to have an incredible family by my side that has always supported me in every decision I have taken. I have always been brought up with respect and honesty, two values that I value the most in a person. They have taught me more than any job or trip, to be kind and loving, to be responsible and to fulfil my obligations. They have also helped me through bad times and are perhaps, along with my parents, the ones who make me the happiest.
Fortunately, it is not my first experience abroad, so I have learnt to deal with homesickness and tough situations, that was 4 years ago when I spent 10 months as an exchange student in Kelowna, Canada and it helped me a lot to manage everything on my own. The main purpose is that we will learn life-lessons and how to overcome the problems, but the most important part to make endless and truthful friendships and get to know other cultures and life-styles.
Some of my passions are sports, travelling and music and I love to be surrounded by people whose hobbies are those however I am a very social and outgoing person as I love to be with people all the time, from other countries and other mindsets:)
So after 3 weeks and with 9 months still left, I am more than excited to see what this life-changing adventure will teach me.
Germany has always caught my attention for its green landscapes, its cities with monuments and smiling streets, its peopleā¦
I visited Munich several years ago and I liked it a lot and decided that in the future I would like to spend some time here.
Now that I have returned I reaffirm my decision, it is true that the climate and the rhythm of life is quite different from that of Spain, but I think that you learn more when the change is greater, and I am prepared for it and with many desire!
