Hello, everyone!
UncategorizedMy name is Xinyue Huo, a 24-year-old girl from China, also an exchange student for this winter semester in LMU. I like photography, fond of Chinese traditional costume. I’m glad to meet you all in this class and look forward to my interesting experiences in Germany!
Changzhou➡️Shanghai
My hometown is Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, a city in southeast part of China. It is a livable and historical place between Yangtze River and Taihu Lake. It takes an hour by high-speed train from Changzhou to Shanghai, where I had my undergraduate study in Fudan University.
My previous major at Fudan University was broadcasting and television, which was quite related to my passion of photography. I’ve made documentaries, worked as a variety director’s assistant, and did some research about podcasts through my four years study in Shanghai. That was a very memorable time.
Shanghai➡️Beijing
In order to further my study in area of media, I applied for my master in Beijing and then began my exploration at Tsinghua University. I major in communication and at my third year right now, planning to start my graduation thesis about romantic video games and intimate relationships.
Tsinghua University is surrounded by two attractions, Yuanmingyuan and Summer Palace. I often ride a bike to these two places and take a walk inside. That is the charm of Beijing, not as modern as Shanghai, but very historical.
Beijing➡️Munich
I think the opportunity to study abroad is very valuable, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, I want to get out of the competitive and busy environment temporarily. So I applied for the exchange program in LMU. Why Munich? The ture reason was that my school had only one program for me at the time😆. My friend Bingqian, an exchange student in LMU last term, spoke highly of Munich as well. My biggest wish is to visit different European countries and take beautiful pictures.
Looking forward to meeting new friends and traveling together!
