Nice to meet you!!❤
Student life . TravelHi!! 🙂
My name is Yining Lu, and my English name is Crystal. I come from China. My home university is Zhejiang university, which located in the Zhejiang province, the southeastern of China.
Actually, before I come Germany, I knew almost nothing about it. So I think it is a beautiful coincidence: I have to finish my application for master degree in China (cause there are so many offline interviews) , it didn’t finish until October, and only universities in Germany start semester from October. That is the reason I come LMU. The process I get the exchange opportunity and successfully fly to Germany is really difficult. I come here late because of my visa, missing the welcome day and various interesting events.
However, after I arrived in Munich, I realized that all efforts is deserved.
In just 10 days, I went to many places.
I went to Marienplatz, Frauenkirche. I saw people who were praying, I saw bride and groom dancing in the square, I saw magnificent buildings of all styles.
I went to Chiemsee Lake. I met exceptionally nice Spanish friends, and it was the first time I had ever made friends from foreign countries.
I went to Alte Pinakothek. I was especially excited to see Van Gogh’s sunflowers in person.
I went to Hackerbrücke, seeing sunset with my friend.
I went to English Garden. I saw some people surfing.
The people here seem to be living in the wilderness, not on the tracks. They can choose to do what they want to do whenever they want, and they can follow their inner voice to learn and work without being bound by time or outside voices.
There is very much lawn and very blue sky. I feel very free, chill and relaxed here, like a beautiful dream.
I learned about this site when I was still in China. I read and was moved by the posts of each exchange student. I didn’t realize that I would go from reader to writer so quickly.
After coming to Munich, I also learned to cook. I especially hope to have the opportunity to cook and eat with friends here!
In this semester, I hope to travel more in Europe, to be able to experience different landscapes, different cultures, and different lives. I also hope to make great friends, have more wonderful memories and connections that can carry even after the exchange. After coming to Munich, I also learned to slowly cook for myself. I especially hope to have the opportunity to cook and eat with my friends over here!
I’m so lucky to meet wonderful Munich and wonderful all of you.❤
