Hi All! 안녕!
AuthorsI am Sua Jung, from a city called Suwon in South Korea. If you haven’t heard of it, now you have!
I have a twin sister who is just a minute younger than me. She went on an exchange last winter, and her experience greatly impacted my contemplation of embarking on a similar journey. Besides, going on an exchange was one of the goals I had since my freshman, so I am proud that I achieved it. I was born in December 2002, and I can’t wait to spend my birthday here.
I like to be optimistic because I believe that it makes people around me happy as well. So, I love clovers, as they symbolise luck. Whenever I chance upon objects with depictions of clovers, I never hesitate to purchase them. Among the vast emojis, the one depicting a clover 🍀 is my absolute favourite.
My hometown, Suwon, is an exceptionally dynamic city that seamlessly blends traditional and modern ways of life.
One of the most renowned historical landmarks is the Hwaseong Fortress, a magnificent site where one can partake in cultural festivities or leisurely wander amidst its grandeur. Near this historical gem lie numerous establishments offering delectable cuisine and entertainment, ranging from cosy cafes to exquisite restaurants and lively bars. Whether you seek tranquillity or excitement, Hwaseong Fortress caters to both preferences, offering diverse areas to suit your tastes. The abundant array of dining options in Korea is one aspect that I ardently cherish about the country.
Moving on from introducing Korea, I would also like to talk more about myself. Although I was born in Korea, I was raised in several foreign countries, including Singapore, India, and Hong Kong. Out of all, I have been living in Hong Kong for ten years, and I am studying for my bachelor’s degree there as well. Hong Kong feels like a home, so I often call it “Home” Kong. It is a fascinating city, also known to be one of the most densely populated areas in the world.
Although I have previously resided in various countries, this is my first time in a European country. I think I made a great choice of choosing Munich over other countries for my exchange due to its serene ambience, picturesque landscapes, and warm reception. Every aspect of this city is novel to me, yet I relish the opportunity to immerse myself in unfamiliar surroundings and diverse cultures. This experience allows me to examine my adaptability while learning valuable lessons along the way. It has already been a month since I came to Munich, but I wish to explore more places and food here. If you are looking for a food buddy, I am down to try any cuisine!
That’s it from me!
