Don’t worry, be water: in Munich I encounter myself
UncategorizedDear reader,
The typical way to start a self-introduction is by name, and mine is Nora. Coming from Shanghai, Munich keeps surprising me with its own charm. I remembered the cold air sweeping towards my face before it quickly condensed into fog. Though studying in Munich, I live in Oberhaching, a wonderful countryside filled with clean air and cute animals. The day I arrived here, sunshine was gifting its blessing to all creatures of this land, and we had a warm breakfast under this sacred aura.
Then I began to notice a subtle change happening inside my body and my mind. Walking along the river in the English Garden, a state of inner peace I‘ve been trying to grasp flowed into myself unconsciously. Watching people read, talk, paint or just do nothing instilled a power of silence inside my body.
As a student majoring at cultural industry management, one of the most exciting things here in Munich is the abundant amount of art & cultural museums here. Museum Brandhorst — the first museum I visited in Munich stroke me with its stunning artworks and its strong social implications hidden in between the lines.
Hopefully this is a pleasant self-introduction blog so far(/at least not an annoying one) haha. Actually I have two huge hobbies: street dance and photography that in no way I will give up no matter where I go. Luckily, I am able to persist them in Munich.:)
