Dreams come true
City life . Student lifeMy name is Alisiia. I am turning 21 soon and I am looking forward to spend this day in Munich, I feel that it is going to be special. I am happy exchange student from Ukraine, who spent last 3 years leaving and traveling around Europe. I`ve seen bunches of spectacular cities and met unique people, but have not found place for my soul so far. But now it seems like I have found one.
My first month in Munich has been anything but total joy and fun. Munich has stolen my heart. But it is not only about place, but mostly about people that made and are continuing to make my stay here unforgettable.
My professional dancing career and guitar playing skills helped me to captivate people here. And now we are dancing and singing karaoke together every Saturday, though my voice constantly reminds Jason Momoa after a long karaoke night, but I still enjoy it every time.
Studying Media and communication is a gift from God. My communication skills are continuing to help me meet international people, learn new languages and absorb intercultural wisdom, while media skills are still in a process of developing. But I don’t despair.
I am looking forward to meet new friends and gain experience from LMU professors. It is such an honour for me to be able to study at least one semester here, and I already don’t want to leave and stay here to pursue my career and personal goals. I hope that this semester will be full of good changes. And I finally got perfect opportunity to “taste” real student life. Studying abroad was my dream and after several attempts and constant trying the doors to the world of international students opened. If you don`t stop knocking on the door, it will open one day.
