Dutchie in München
Authors . UncategorizedRiding bikes, drinking Heineken and eating Kroketten at the canals of Utrecht. Servus! I am Lisa Zonjee, a twenty-three year old student from the Netherlands. I was born in Hilversum, but moved for my studies to Utrecht, where I study Corporate Communications at the Hogeschool Utrecht.
Two years ago, my sister decided to move to New York for six months to learn Cambridge English. At Christmas and new years eve, I got the chance to fly to her and experience a part of her life that I didn’t know yet. She showed me around in a chaotic and big city that she now knew very well. She also introduced me to her friends, whom are from all over the world and we celebrated with her friends new years eve at Times Square. After my visit in New York, I realised that I also want to experience that myself. That is why I applied for exchange in München.
Now that I am in München, I am really happy that I also met people from all over the world. My sister visited me last week in München, where I got to show her around and introduce her to my friends. I am not homesick yet, and I am enjoying every part of my exchange experience in München!
