The most beautiful scenery is on the road

When I  came to Germany, I heard that the fall of Neuschwanstein Castle and Kings Lake was one of the most beautiful views of the Bavarians. And it is said the scenery on the road to these two places is as beautiful as a paintings, so two friends of mine and I decided to drive to these two places in the last weekend of October. Although it has been several weeks passed, but when mentioned the beautiful natural scenery around Munich, I remembered this short journey at once.

We set off on Saturday morning to go to Neuschwanstein Castle. It was a sunny day. The scenery along the way was like a postcard.We can see the rolling hills very near to us and lush vegetation, the cabins which is only mentioned in the fairy tale, and even the grazing cows. All of this makes us feel infinitely close to nature.

Although we were not allowed to enter Neuschwanstein Castle because of being late and the Maria Bridge was also closed for weather reasons, which is said to be the best position to see the castle, we still feel very happy to see Neuschwanstein castle and the Hohenschwangau Castle in the woods. In the sun, they are indeed a dream castle, charming and full of fairytale atmosphere.

On the return journey, we watched the roadside scenery more casually because we have more spare time.The chapel on the countryside looked comfortable and peaceful in the sun. There were few people around. The grass had not experienced the baptism of the cold wind, and it was very green and vivid. I ran on the grass as I wished, feeling that I am almost integrated with nature. This is very different from what we can experienced in China. If there is such a good scenery in China, it may be difficult for one person to enjoy it alone or share it with a few friends. Many people will come to visit it.

The next day’s trip to Kings Lake was a great opportunity to get close to nature. Although the weather was not very good that day, it was foggy and very cold, we were still amazed by the clearness of the lake and the freshness of the air. They were so beautiful and so clean. In China, we can only see such clean and beautiful scenery in the snowy mountains in the west of country, such as Yulong Snow Mountain in Yunnan Province. We saw wild ducks swimming on the lake, and they were very intimate with human beings. Under the clear lake, we could see the active feet of the ducks while they swam. The grass and pebbles at the bottom of the lake can also be seen very clearly.

The most impressive impression of Kings Lake is the echo between the mountains. We took a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Kings Lake. The boat stopped in a place surrounded by mountains. It was quiet everywhere. The captain blew a melody with a trumpet. The mountains gave him multiple echoes, which was very magical.

All in all, the two-day self-driving tour to Neuschwanstein Castle and Kings Lake showed me the beauty of the autumn in Germany, which is charming and special. The scenery along the way is like one postcard after another. I think the camera can’t completely record their beauty. It can only be recorded and remembered in the heart for a long time.
