Why Munich?

Hello, my name is Irina Rafel and I come from Spain, Barcelona. You might be asking why I chose Munich for my erasmus exchange… well, to be honest it wasn’t one of my options yet because I had no idea of speaking in german. One day a special person told me to come here, that it was a great opportunity as Germany is a very important country. On the other hand, my mother spent a year in Stuttgart when she was my age and said it is one of her best experiences. So I started making up my mind of how my life could be here, it seemed different of everything I’d already known and that made me show up great interest as I wanted my erasmus experience to be an important change in my life. I’m expecting these 5 months to grow as a person, to extend my knowledge, to meet interesting people with different cultures or ideologies. I also expect it’s an experience I’ll always remember full of happiness. For the next 3 months I hope I can visit many places and cities in Germany and Europe. Indeed, my next trip is going to Milan with the group of friends I’ve met here in Munich.
