Until we meet again..

Uncategorized

Honestly, even when it has been 4 months, I still cannot believe that I’m living on the other side of the world right now. In less than 2 weeks, my time here in Munich would come to an end. I don’t want to bring the mood down but 4 months is really not enough and I still felt like I have not done everything I wanted to. Anyhow, I’m glad everything happened the way it did.

Frühlingsfest was so much fun!
No amount beer is too much beer (English Garden)

This is the break that I needed after so many years of online studying and pressure to accomplish something from my friends and family. Now I feel fully charged and ready to face anything thrown at me from now on. Actually able to see another human being outside of screen was really refreshing and definitely makes me more productive too.

Even though I always feel like I can adjust to any foreign culture I’m thrown in since I’m a very chill and laid back guy, Munich felt like a second home. I was a bit afraid at first because people here are HUGE (or I’m just small) and the language they’re speaking sounds scary, but after knowing them, they’re one of the most genuine people I’ve ever met (especially Sarah she’s so kind). I’m so sad I couldn’t make it to the beer garden on the 20th because I really wanted to meet you guys.

Reconnecting with my friend Dan

I was able to reconnect with one of my close friends in high school too which felt amazing! He move here since graduated from high school to study engineering at TUM and it has been almost four years since we’ve last met. It’s really sad to think that I’m leaving soon but I’m really glad that I got to hangout with him again (he planned to live here after graduation which is so sad but I’m very happy for him). Who knows, maybe I’ll be here again someday too.

The time I spend here will always be cherished, I’m so grateful that I decided to come here. I’ve never live abroad before and was always afraid of racism. Living here for four months helps a lot about that. I feel like I’m leaving this country as a better version of myself and I do owe Germany for being so kind to me.

If you ever planned to visit Thailand and needed help or whatever reason, feel free to contact me on Instagram (newpinyo). Until we meet again, take care and thank you for having me. I will miss you Germany, and leberkäse semmel.

They’re gonna kill me if they see these pictures hehe.
