Enjoying Life Outside My Comfort Zone

Hallo München!

My name is Isabella Schuss but I am commonly referred to as Bella and I am from Vancouver, Canada. I knew since my first year in university that I wanted to study abroad. Although I originally considered studying in the UK, I ended up in Germany and I am so glad I did.

I was visiting Munich for the first time with my family in the summer of 2016 and I absolutely fell in love with the city. After taking a bike tour through the city and past LMU I thought I would see if this amazing school was an exchange partner and sure enough it was. Now I am living in Olympiapark and I am constantly meeting such amazing people from around the world. I am truly excited for this winter semester and I am still in disbelief that I am actually studying, living, and travelling in Europe.

I look forward to taking classes and working towards my degree in a different school environment and method. So far I have found the school system quite different from home and I have yet to figure out which style I prefer.
