Report: Disco nights at Import Export
City life . Culture . Music . Night life . Student life . TravelFrom Hauptbahnhof I take the tram towards Moosach. It is not the prettiest tram route of Munich. But I’m not going a pretty place as well. I’m getting off at Leonrodplatz. As soon as I get off, I can already hear the techno playing. I take one more look in my bag when I get
Munich experiences, the best erasmus semester one could ask
Authors . Night life . Student life . TravelDear Munich, As the winter semester is coming to an end, it is time to say goodbye. I have never been good to say goodbye, but I am sure this won’t be the last time I’ll experience this city. During the last months I discovered a part of myself that I did know about. Since
It really is goodbye
Authors . City life . Culture . Excursions . Night life . Student life . TravelI cannot believe that this is really goodbye. In my first post of the semester, I wrote “I told you it was not goodbye yet”, but it truly is now. In my first post of the semester, I talked about my goals to travel to countries like Romania, Croatia, and Portugal. Although I never got
I told you it was not a goodbye yet
Night life . Student life . TravelHello everyone! If you are new to reading this blog, I am Lexie, an international student studying in Munich all the way from the USA. When I am in the USA, I live in Michigan and absolutely love it. I think my favorite part is that we have all 4 seasons! And there is nothing
Good bye is just another way of saying hello
Authors . Culture . Night life . Student lifeHi to whoever is taking time to read this, Off to an awkward end! What better way to write my farewell post by paying homage to my introduction post! Which I think resonates with how I am and to the growth I had as a person. I am filled with a sense of gratitude and awe.
Oh well- I guess all good things come to an end?
City life . Culture . Night life . Student life . TravelWithin three weeks I am packing up my stuff, which is A LOT more than when I first came to Munich, and traveling back to Sweden. These past months have truly gone by so fast! It feels like yesterday when I was walking in a sunny Englischer Garten for the first time, being amazed by
MEETING WITH ANNA, VICE PRESIDENT OF THE ESN SECTION IN MUNICH
City life . Culture . Night life . Student life . TravelI met Anna K. in Munich during the month of October. The first time I talked with her was during an ESN Mesa Meeting which took place at Geschwister Scholl Platz (the main building of the LMU). She is 22 years old and comes from Germany. Always smiling and in a good mood, she welcomed me with open arms, always asking if everything went fine or if I needed help to take my mark in the new city I was living in. I had the opportunity to travel a lot with her (to Berlin, to Starnberger See, to the bavarian mountains,..) and to take part to many events she co-organized (like parties).
She is now became a friend and I wanted to interview her because I found her experience really interesting, not only as an ESN Mesa member but also as an Erasmus Student because she studied during five months in Italy a couple of years ago.
So, my interview will be divided in two sections : one is related to the experience Anna had as an Erasmus Student. The other one deals about the position she has been occupied in the ESN Network since last year.

Dinner parties have been central to the creation and maintenance of close bonds with other exchange students. They have been the source of countless great conversations; funny
